TIME NOT OPPORTUNE DISCUSSIONS WELCOMED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Aug. 9, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 8 Lord Caldecote, in the House of Lords, said the Government feels that the present moment is inopportune for inviting Dominion Ministers to London for an Imperial War Conference, but would certainly welcome such discussions if the occasion offered. CANBERRA, August 9 The Prime Minister, Mr Menzies, stated that a selection has been made of the Australian officials for the war effort conference at Delhi. The names will be announced shortly.
