SOCIAL AND DANCE
NGAHINAPOURI EVENING Masses of greenery were arranged about the Ngahinapouri Hall recently, when the old pupils of the Ngahinapouri School held an enjoyable concert and dance in aid of patriotic: funds. An entertaining one-act play, “The Slippers of Cinderella,” was presented by the following cast:— Misses Betty Milne, Marjorie Nottingham, Vivienne Adlam, Elaine Gillard, Tui and Gwen Pulman, Joan Nottingham and Lyn Mills. Miss Patty Allen performed a butterflv dance and Mrs W. Reid played the accordion for community singing. Mrs Pulman was in charge of tho supper room and Mrs Wylie supplied music for dancing. Mr Eric Reid was master of ceremonies. Among those present were:— Mesdames Pulman, Nottingham Allen, G. Mills, H. Gillard, Bromwich, Melhose, W. Reid, W. McFar - land, Eric Reid, M. French (Auckland). Misses D. Tudehope, M. Calahan, A Mills, J. Calahan, M. Milne, M Nottingham, E. Gillard, J. Marsden. J. Bain, T. Pulman, P. Allen, G Pulman, J. Nottingham, L. Mills, V Adlam, M. Bromwich.
