LIFE OF PARLIAMENT ELECTION MAY BE HELD (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received July 30. 3.15 p.m.) CANBERRA, July 30 Mr Curtin expressed opposition to the reference of the proposal to extend the life of Parliament to “anybody except the people of Australia.” He added: “It is nobody else’s business. I see no difficulty in holding an election, assuming that Australia when the election is due is in the same position as it is at present.”
