PLANS FOR ORGANISATION COMMITTEE SET UP MR EDEN’S ANNOUNCEMENT (Official Wireless) (Received July 30, 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, July 29 Mr Anthony Eden has set up a standing committee to consider the present administrative organisation and procedure of the War Office and military commands. The committee is to make recommendations, with a view to introducing changes in organisation and procedure as appear necessary, in order to ensure elasticity. It consists of three general officers and three businessmen, presided over by the Permanent Under-Secretary for War.
