MISSIONARY AUXILIARY

ST. PAI L’S METHODIST CHURCH The monthly meeting of St. Paul’s Missionary Auxiliary was held on Thursday in the church parlour, which was artistically arranged with spring flowers. Mrs Tinsley, president, occupied the chair and opened the meeting with a hymn, reading and prayer. She gave a helpful talk on “The victory that overcometh the world, even faith.” Following afternoon tea, the usual period of prayer for missionaries and native workers and the Empire was observed. Interesting letters from missionaries were read, after which Mrs Whitehouse was welcomed and gave a short talk on the work of her daughter in the Solomon Islands. Mrs Tinsley thanked the speaker and closed _the meeting with the benediction.
