Notice is hereby given in accordance with its powers under the Land Drainage Act and its Amendments thereof that it is the intention of the Ohaupo Drainage Board, at its next meeting to be held on WEDNESDAYAugust 21, 1940, to strike and levy a General Rate of Two and onequarter pence in the £ (2£d in the £) on the Unimproved Value of all land Classed A; One and one-fifth pence in the £ (1 l-5d in the £) on all land Classed B; and One-fifth of a penny in the £ (l-5d in the £) on all land Classed C for the period commencing April 1, 1940 and ending March 31, 1941, such a Rate to be due and payable in one sum to the Collector on and after September 1, 1940. All Rates not paid at the expiry of six months and fourteen days may be subject to a 10 per cent addition and sued for without further notice.
