NATIONAL CLUB
SUCCESS OF PAST YEAR MEETING ELECTS OFFICERS The annual report of the National Club, Hamilton, presented by the retiring president, Mr Hallyburton Johnstone, at the annual meeting on Saturday night, reviewed a successful year. The balance-sheet revealed the club to be in' a sound financial position. There was a large attendance, and the keen interest taken in the affairs of the club was indicated by the fact that ballots were necessary for all offices. The elections resulted as follows: President, Mr A. Gordon; vice-presi-dents, Mrs K. E. Duxfield. Mr F. H Anderson; committee, Mrs D. D Wilson. Messrs W. J. Livinstone, H. J. McMullin, E. R. Roskruge. P. J Smythe, W. Tudhope. A. J. Yendell. auditor, Mr G. H. Bindon. Mr Gordon, in taking the chair, congratulated the retiring president on the success of the club last year. Mr Johnstone, in reply, extended his good wishes to the new president and for the continued success of the club.
