HOME GUARD TOTALS 23,000 (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, July 27 The Home Guard of Northern Ireland now numbers more than 23,000. In many districts the establishment could have been filled twice or three times over. All the men have been supplied with rifles and ammunition and uniforms are to be issued.
