THE HAMILTON CLUB MATCHES ON SATURDAY Play in the captain’s trophy and vice-captain’s trophy competitions was aonunited Dy members of the Hamilton Golf Club on Saturday. McCaw won from T. Milroy by default; E. Ethridge beat F. W. Groom, 4 and 3; G. Marriott won from R. B. Seabrook by default; A. Marcroft beat W. Gunn, 3 and 1; M. A. Kelly beat F. Reach, 5 and 4. Vice-captain’s trophy: C. Sutcliffe beat H. J. MacMullin, 3 and 2; N. Cann beat W. P. Walker, 3 and 2: J M. M. Frost beat J. O’Donohue, 1 up; 1 H. P. Clarke beat A. E. McCracken, 1 up; S. 1 - ayes beat J. F. Strang, 2 and 1; J. Gamble beat M. C. Stranger, 1 up; J. M. Horton beat J. T. Gillies, 2 and 1.
