BRUNTWQOD DAIRY CO. new guaranteed price (Times Special Reporter) CAMBRIDGE, Friday “Few companies in the last ter years have been able to pay-oul more than our company,” said Mi W. N. Perry, chairman of the Bruntwood Co-operative Dairy Company, j Limited, at the annual meeting in | Cambridge today. The pay-out of j 18.649 a lb was slightly better than j that for the previous season, which was a very satisfactory position, the chairman commented. ! Perry stated that the average grade of the cheese had fallen during the season, but practically every company in the Dominion had the same experience. It was evidence cf the high quality of the production, however, that the company had won the Hardley Cup for the highest average grade of cheese sent through the Auckland grading store for the fourth time in six years. Commenting on the guaranteed prices Mr Perry stated that the Minister had not as yet made an official announcement, but he considered the price which the farmer would be given would be the same as that paid last season. Negotiations were now in progress between the New Zealand Government and the Imperial Government. Messrs W. N. Perry and J. C. Wallace retired from the directorate by rotation and were re-elected unopposed.
