RETALIATION FOR EMBARGO CUTTING OFF SUPPLIES (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received July 27, 3.15 p.m.) TOKIO, July 26 It is unofficially indicated that Japan may consider cutting off the United States’ supply of rubber and Zinc from the South Seas, in retaliation for the embargo on the export of scrap iron and petroleum. It is regarded as certain that the embargo will stimulate Japanese activity in the South Seas.
