The great drive for more guns and more munitions is gaining fresh impetus every hour. Girls of 17 are working shoulder to shoulder in the production of arms for the fighting men. Many of the girls are putting in 12 hours a day, and all the men are working a 70-hour week. Practically all the machinery is working full pressure, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
