HANDED OVE RTO BRITAIN MINISTER EXPRESSES THANKS (Official Wireless) (Received July 27, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, July 26 Mr Malcolm MacDonald, Minister of Health, paid an informal visit yesterday to the London offices of the American Red Cross to express British thanks for the American help given to the British Red Cross. Later in th‘e day the Minister was present at a further ceremony, exemplifying American generosity. On this occasion the Director-General of the American ambulance handed over 14 ambulances and 23 surgical imits for immediate service in dealing with civilian casualties in Britain.
