CAMBRIDGE’S BUSY DAY £58,335 DEFERRED PAYMENTS (Times Special Reporter) CAMBRIDGE, Friday For Cambridge businessmen, today was busy and the town was particularly crowded with members of the rural community. Coming to town to attend the annual meetings of both the Cambridge Co-operative Dairy Company and the Bruntwood Co-operative Dairy Company, farmers and their families were able to spend some of the £58,335 7s 7d paid out today by the two companies in deferred payments. The Cambridge Company made a total deferred payment of £50,047 18s Id, which was divided among the 412 suppliers of the company. Although the total number of suppliers of the Bruntwood Company is only 40, the deferred payment from this company totalled £8287 9s 6d, an average of more than £2OO for each supplier. ___________
