Waterfront Levy

The Waterfront Control Commission has issued an order that owners, agents or masters of ships shall, from time to time, pay to the commission a lev/ of 2 per cent on the total wages or earnings paid to waterside workers at the port of Auckland for the loading and unloading of cargo.
