RECORD WHALE CATCH
TORY CHANNEL SEASON (By Telegraph.—Press Association) BLENHEIM, Friday A new record of captures for the season has been established by the Tory Channel whalers, who yesterday killed their 84th whale, thus passing the previous best figure, established last year, of 81. There is still just over a fortnight before the season ends, and on present successes it looks as though Mr J. A. Perano and his party will establish a record that will stand for a long time. The weather this season has lavoured whaling.
