CHRISTMAS PARTY

PHILHARMONIC SOCIETY A very happy spirit prevailed in the Toorak Hall on Wednesday evening when the Hamilton Philharmonic Society held an enjoyable Christmas party. Multi-coloured streamers had been arranged about the hall and bowls of summer flowers added a cheerful note. Competitions were won by Mr J. T. Battersby and Miss 1. Aitken. Among those present were:—Mesdames U. Bonnar, Garner, Stimson, A. Winter (committee), Moorman, Jury, Wilson, Wing, Trenberth, V. Church, Ellis, Grimes, Wood, McLachlan. Misses Dulcie Evans, Myra Salter, Dorothy Salter, Nan Campbell, Firth, Val Winter, Alison Winter, Alma Burton, Jose Bonnar, Zita Bonnar, Effie Semple, Win. Holden, Rose Holden, Joan Sellar, May Hooper, Beryl Waters, Rose Pulman, I. Pulman, Anne Pulman, Kath Truman, Yvonne McLachlan, Val Porter, Joan Delargey.
