To-day he concluded a tour of the Naval establishments at Portsmouth. Accompanied by the Commander-in-Chief he was shown over a motor torpedo boat and torpedo and mining establishment and witnessed aircraft firing. Admiral Darlan has been in consultation with the First Lord of the Admiralty, Mr Winston Churchill, on Allied naval matters.
