A QUIET MORNING

TE RAPA ACTIVITY With the departure of the majority of horses to the various centres there was little activity at Te Rapa this morning and only in isolated instances were horses sent against the watch. Flashing Spear, picked up by Nithmount at the five-furlong peg, ran once round in 2.4, which was an iexcellent effort for one of his class. In a similar effort Dark Shadow, alone, ran 2.6. Gay Poto (Brown) ran half-a-mile in 545.
