CRASH IN FLAMES

It then crashed into the sea six miles from Europa Point. British destroyers dashed to the rescue and recovered three charred bodies. CopyrteTit) DARWIN, Dec. 19 An aeroplane crashed near the ; Darwin aerodrome yesterday, when i a New Guinea Airways Lockheed Electra, with 10 passengers, journeying from Newcastle, made a forced landing from a height of 150 ft., owing to the failure of the engines. One occupant suffered a fractured skull and another a broken arm. The machine was burned to cinders, the occupants having a mar- \ vellous escape from death.
