Copyngtu; (Received Dec. 20, 3.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 20 “I definitely refuse to give up the world’s championship trophy, because I won it fairly.” This passage appeared in a letter from Mr W. Scahill, read at a meeting of the Eighteenfooter Sailing League. Mr Scahill added in his letter that if the League intended to proceed for the recovery of the trophy it had better interview his solicitors. On Saturday the executive committee of the New South Wales 18footer Sailing League cancelled the registration of the 18-footer Taree and expelled the owner, Mr W. Scahill, and the skipper, Mr B.
