CENTENNIAL SERVICES

HAMILTON ARRANGEMENTS In response to the request from the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, thanksgiving services wili be held in all the churches of Hamilton on January 7. Owing to the holiday season, the united thanksgiving service which was to have t>een held in the afternoon of January 7, has been postponed until February 11. This will take place at 2 p.m. on the Ferry Bank, the speakers to occupy the band rotunda. If the weather is wet, the service will be held in the Theatre Royal. Notice will be given, in case of alteration. Ministers from the various churches of the town will take part, and arrangements are being made for a Maori choir to sing and for one of the local bands to be in attendance.
