OBITUARY
ME W. S. LAYNE The death has occurred at Tauranga of Mr William Seneschal Layne, aged 65 years. Born at Mangere, the late Mr Layne spent most of his life in the Waikato and at Tauranga. He was one of a family of 13. His wife and one daughter survive him, also two brothers, Messrs John Layne (Hamilton) and J. Norwood Layne (Auckland), and six sisters, Mesdames Drabble, M. Wallace (Hamilton), Walker, S. Atkins, Clark (Auckland) and E. S. Hickey (Morrinsviiie).
