To mark the end of the school year" the pupils or the Te Aroha District High school held a gala day in the secondary school grounds on Wednesday ror parents and friends. Displays of folk dancing and physical drill were given by me older pupil-. In the class rooms were exhibitions of the handwork and drawing done during the year. rile procession or decorated vehicles and rancy dress attracted good entries rrom the smaller children. During the aftercliild from the infant department with a girt and a balloon, while „ r , h# . older boys, dressed as animals, amused the little one? with their antics, several <talis were conducted by the teachers, the monev raispd going to the school equipment fund.
