DAMAGE TO CRUISERS

NO INFORMATION AVAILABLE NOT OPERATING WIRELESS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Dec. 16, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 15 The Admiralty spokesman stated that the Admiralty has not heard anything from the British ships. For some time since, while still at sea, they have not been operating their wireless. For this reason there is no knowledge of the damage sustained. There is no reason to suppose that H.M.S. Achilles or H.M.S. Ajax has suffered severe damage, though no doubt H.M.S. Exeter had a hard knock.
