GRANT OF £SOO MADE
COMFORTS FOR NAVAL MEN ACHILLES’ PART RECOGNISED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Friday In recognition of the part taken by the Achilles in the sea fight off the coast of Uruguay, the Auckland Provincial Patriotic Council made a grant of £SOO for the dispensation through the National Patriotic Board of comforts and amenities to the ships’ companies of all units of the New Zealand Naval Division.
