“ALL SET” FOR XMAS

A WELCOME EXTENDED TO SEASIDE HOLIDAYMAKERS With the Christmas holidays only a week away, there may still be some people who have not yet made up their minds as to what they will do—where they will go. Well, here’s the answer in three words! “Come to Raglan.” It’s fresh, not overcrowded, within 30 miles by good road from Hamilton, and offers the holidaymaker everything in sport and pastime. Here are a few of the attractions over the holidays:—From Xmas Eve until New Year’s Eve, a broadcasting service will be in operation. Launch trips on the harbour; fishing, bathing, tennis, bowls and croquet daily. The Regimental Band will be at Raglan on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the New Year weekend. The Centennial Regatta on Monday, January 1, will see some of the fastest boats in the Dominion in action. National dancing will be held on this day, also Grand Ball at 'night. Dancing at the Cabaret and pictures every night. For the children, a special playground has been constructed with a merry-go-round, eight swings and plenty of space to enjoy themselves.

“Come to Raglan,” the Live Wire town of New Zealand—bright with coloured lights at night and sunny during the day—Welcolne all.
