SOME WITTICISMS
GEORGE FORMBY’S PHILOSOPHY George Formby, whose latest comedy, “ Come on, George,” will be released shortly throughout New Zealand, says:— " “ The only things worth looking at are those things that will be there long after you’ve looked.” “ Modern young people are much alike in many disrespects.” “ If it was as easy to learn things as to forget, then we'd know an awful lot.” “ Never ask people not to tell; it puts ideas in their heads.” “ Nothing ever causes a young man greater surprise than to find .someone has fallen in love with his sister.” “ To write a song hit you take something composed by one of the old maestros and decompose it.”
Descendant of Rin-Tin-Tin Darryl Zanuck has hired a greatgrandson of Rin-Tm-Tin to appear in "Hollywood Cavalcade.” Zanuck first won notice as a writer of the original Rin-Tin-T>n dog stories and later as their producer.
