LABOUR RESOLUTION (By Telegrapn.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The Wellington Trades Council of the New Zealand Federation of Labour carried the following resolution:— “That in view of the propaganda by press and the Nationalist party that the Government introduce conscription for overseas war service, the council places on record its endorsement of a statement of the Prime Minister that the Government would not introduce conscription for overseas service.”
