SCHOOL BREAKS=UP
SOUTHWELL SCHOOL FUNCTION MANY VISITORS PRESENT The beautiful grounds of the Southwell School, with their shady walks, and spacious lawns, presented an animated scene yesterday afternoon, when the annual prize-giving ceremony was attended by a large number of parents and visitors.
A delicious afternoon tea was served to the guests on small tables set under the spreading trees, by the boys, prior to the presenting of the annual report by the principal, Mr H. G. Sergei and to a short speech by Bishop Cherrington. The guests were received by Mrs H. G. Sergei wearing a wineberry sheer frock under a navy coat and a navy sisal straw hat. She was assisted by her daughters, Mrs Uloth Johnstone, who wore a honey linen suit and a navy hat, and Miss Joan Sergei wearing a fondant-pink frock and a toning hat.
