GAME OF BOWLS

TOMORROW’S PROGRAMME TOURNAMENT AT RAILWAY One of the attractions on the bowling programme in Hamilton tomorrow will be a one-day tournament at the Railway club’s greens, for which good entries have been received. The Claudelands club will be holding its annual “at home” function, and a large attendance of bowlers is cx - pected at the greens. Matches for the Waikato Challenge Shields will also be played, Hamilton playing Frankton at the latter club’s greens for the Pairs Shield, and Ngaruawahia playing Huntly at Huntly for the Rinks Shield. At other greens club competitions and ordinary draws will be played. Two pairs tournaments will be held at the Whitiora club’s greens, one for leads and twos, and the other for threes and skips.
