BASELESS RUMOUR
WAIOURU CAMP WORKERS MR SEMPLE INVESTIGATES (By Telegraph.—Press Association) TAIHAPE, Wednesday The Minister for Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, visited Taihape in connection with the statements made recently concerning an alleged dispute with the workmen responsible for building the Waiouru military camp, it being stated they had refused to work with the engineering corps. He pointed out that the camp was built in a month —a record, considering there was no material on the job when the undertaking was commenced. Mr Semple visited the camp this morning. *
