METHODIST CIRCUIT
QUARTERLY MEETING I There was a good attendance at ' the quarterly meeting of the Hamilj ton Methodist Circuit this week, I when the Rev. R. B. Tinsley presided. I Reports from churches and Sunday ! schools in the area were received ! and a progress report on the home i mission effort was tabled. Mr W. B. I L. Williams stated that a circuit i social committee had been estab- | lished. The question of appointing another ! agent to assist in the work was disj cussed, and committees were set up j to consider ways and means of pro- ! viding another parsonage. Eulogistic j reference to the work of Mr J. Bur- : ley (a student) at Maeroa was made ! by several speakers. Mr and Mrs J E. Tictjens were appointed delegates to the Methodist ! conference, and Messrs A. C. BurI gess and W. B. L. Williams were reelected circuit stewards. Harvest | festivals throughout the circuit will j be held on March 3 and March 10.
