NURSES CALLED UP

WAIKATO HOSPITAL i SERVICE WITH THE ARMY Numbers of nurses from the Waikato Hospital have volunteered for home or overseas service with the New' Zealand Forces during the war, and this week two sisters were accepted. They are Sisters E. C. Mackay, of Hamilton, and Sister N. Shew’an, of Rotorua. They w'ill leave for camp early in January. Leave was granted for them by the Waikato Hospital Boai-d today, and it was stated that their position on the staff would be open for them upon their return. The board wished the listers good fortune, and thanked them for tfieir berviecs.
