JUDGING AT TE AWAMUTU (Special to Times) TE AWAMUTU, December 13. Further progress was made yesterday with tlie judging or calves in connection with the To Awamutu Cair Club movement. wjien entries at the Te Kawa and Korakonui schools were brought before the judges. Messrs 11. Allen and 11. H. Clarke, with Mr c. b. Melrose in attendance At. Te Kawa the results were as Follows: Best-mannered calf. Beverley Henderson 1, Mavis Hose -2, .Ngaire Henderson 3, Elsie Nose h.c.; best call', judged on type, Ngaire Henderson t. Mavis Hose 2, Beverley Henderson 3, Elsie Hose 1. At Korakonui thr* results were:—Handling and leading, Betty Lancaster 1, Don flower 2, Trevor Alderson 3; dairy type, Don C.ower 1, Ivan Harwood 2, Teddy I’acey 3, Rex Pratt 1; dairy type (pedigree Jersey), Betty Lancaster 'heiren ami Trevor Alderson (bull), equal. Pet lamb: Valeric Whitfield 1, Barry Whitlleld 2.
