ADDITIONAL INSTALLATIONS INCREASE IN REVENUE Reporting to the monthly meeting of the Central Waikato Electrical Power Board yesterday, the engineermanager, Mr J. R. Ellis, stated that the total number of consumers on the board’s mains was 6892, an increase of 33 over Showing an increase of 44, the number of water heaters stood at 2891, while 37 ranges were installed during the •jronth, bring the total to 1367. Other totals given in the report, with the increases in parentheses, were as follows:—Milking motors, 1930 (5); separator motors, 892 (11); pump motors, 1644 (18); industrial motors, 773 (13); domestic motors, 171 (6). The revenue from sales of electricity from April 1 to October 31, 1939. showed an increase of £3660 13s 8d over the return for the corresponding period last year, the respective figures being £51,778 16s lOd and £48,118 3s 2d. The chairman, Mr T. Hinton, presided and also present were Messrs J. J. Ryburn, E. F. J. Peacocke, G. Smith, R. Eyre, W. C. E. George, W. Henry, J. A. Sampson, R. G. Young, N. Reid, J. R. Ellis (engineer-man-ager) and H. J. Beeche (secretary).
