Average yearly rainrall, 46.32in SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) I*he special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Thames Valley is as follows: General situation: A series or deep westerly depressions is crossing the South Island, and conditions are also disturbed in the north. Forecast: Moderate to rresh westerly winds. Weather cloudy to overcast, with some further scattered rain. Temperatures mild. Seas slight to moderate.
