CONCERT AT CAMP
PARTY FROM HUNTLY (Special to Times; HL'N'TLY, Thursday A concert, arranged by the Rev w. p. Rankin, was held at Hopu Hopu camp on Tuesday pight The programme included Items by an instrumenial trio of trainee.*, selections, the Elite Orchestra ■ Huntly’ ; song-, Messrs R. L. Cowie and M. Penman, trios, Messrs M. Penman, W. M. Shaw 3nd G A. Shaw; sailor s hornpipe and Irish jig. Miss J. Bowron; dance. Misses En.a Grierson and Agnes Garrick 'Renown ; violin solo, Mr J. Robert;; seantruibhais. Miss Agnes Garrick. Community singing was also enjoyed. Mrs R. L. Cowie an.l Messrs J. Bogie and T. Ingram were the accompanists. The Rev. Rankin presided and entertained with several stories, supper was provided by the women’s c»mniittee of the Huntly branch of the Red Cross Society. During the evening the tr.iuir s sunk up a collection fur a Christmas present r<>r the two children who had given Items, Ena Grierson and \gnc» Garrjuk.
