CONCERT AT CAMP

ENJOYABLE PROGRAMME Last evening a concert party organised by Mr J. T. Battersby, through the Women’s Entertainment Committee, was taken to Hopu Hopu. A spirit of “cameraderie” was established between artists and audience from the outset, as was evident from the applause accorded each item. The following programme was given:—Songs, Mrs Elaine Wood, Mrs T. J. Jury, Miss Allison Winter, and Messrs Pat Herlihy and George Wheeler; duets, Miss Dulcie Evans and Mr J. T. Battersby; humour, Miss Shirley Burton; instrumental novelty, Miss Tui Molesworth and Mr J. Ball; male quartettes. Harmonic Four (Messrs J. T. Battersby, K. P. Eade, E. H. Quill, George Wheeler).
