BRITAIN’S EXPORT TRADE

MARKETS OPENED SHOULD BE EXPLOITED (United press »ssn —Elec. Te.. ConyrlirM) LONDON, November 8 Lord Elibank, in the House ol Lords, urged the Government to foster export trade as, Germany being driven from the seas, the door was open to the Dominion, Colonial, South American and other markets. He complained that the fear of contraband was holding up food from the Dominions in the docks. He criticised the present control export system. Lord Templemore, in replying, said the Government was fully alive to the situation and added that the chief countries with which Britain wanted an export trade were the United States, Canada,, Scandinavia, Belgium and Holland.
