CHANGES ANNOUNCED PLANES REQUISITIONED (By Telegraph.—Pres3 Aasociatlon) WELLINGTON, Wednesday The D.H. Rapide planes opeiated by the Cook Strait Airways having been taken over by the Government for training purposes, will cease service after tomorrow, and by arrangement with Union Airways the company will maintain the Welling-ton-Blenheim-Nelson services with Lockheed Electras. The number of trips will be reduced, but the increased carrying capacity of the planes will enable approximately the same number of passengers to be carried.
The Nelson-West Coast section will be maintained by Air Travel, N.Z., Ltd.
