A REVOLUTION ?
PREDICTION BY SOVIET CRITICISM OF ALLIES NO COMFORT FOR NAZIS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Nov. 8, 12.5 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 7 The Moscow correspondent of the British United Press states that banners bearing portraits of M. Dimitroff and Dr. Thaelmann were carried past the Nazi delegation which was watching the amversary parade, who sprang to attention as the band played “The Internationale.” Those not in’ uniform bared their heads in compliment to this anthem, which Hitler has banned throughout Germany. They even applauded M. Voroshiloff’s speech which could not have greatly comforted them. The Comintern official organ published M. Dimitroff’s article saying that the war may be the prelude to a revolution in one or more countries. He appeals to workers relentlessly to oppose the capitalist campaign, and adds that Russia’s example, which was inspiring the world’s workers, would increase the might of the international proletariat. British Leaders Accused The article accuses the British Labour leaders of raising an antiComintern banner, which the Nazis had had to abandon.
M. Litvin off appeared beside M. Stalin, M. Molotoff and other Soviet leaders, after which 1,000,000 civilians demonstrated, shouting antiwar slogans and carrying caricatures of the British and French “aggressors.”
