BIG OFFENSIVE

GERMAN PREPARATION

THRUST INTO HOLLAND? DRIVE ON SUEZ CANAL (United Press Aaan.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Nov. 7 The Copenhagen newspaper Politiken states that German officers and men have been recalled from leave, air squadrons have been marshalled and ambulance trains are leaving Berlin, indicating that an offensive is contemplated. Broadcasts were interrupted for half an hour this morning for an unknown reason. The Paris newspaper, Le Journal says there are unconfirmed reports that the German General Staff has decided upon a thrust into Holland through Limbourg, and thence northward toward the Dutch ports. The plan is also said to include a joint Russo-German drive on the Suez Canal.
