PERSONAL
Mr F. Findlay, of Hamilton, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Messrs H. T. Nixon, H. McCoy and M. Walsh (Auckland) are at the Commercial Hotel. The Rt. Rev. F. A. Bennett, Bishop of Aotearoa, is in Hamilton in the course of a lecture tour of the Waikato Diocese. Messrs A. H. Ward, P. Lowe (Wellington), F. K. Foster (Gisborne), W. A. Coles and H. R. Ayres (Auckland) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Messrs W. Phillips (Taumarunui), S. Davis (Wellington), E. C. Walton, H. Burne (Auckland) and A. J. Taylor (New Plymouth) are at the Midland Hotel. Mr W. S. Goosman, M.P. for Waikato, who is looking after the interests of the Hauraki electorate in the absence of Major J. M. Allen, M.P., has left for Wellington on business connected with the electorates and to attend a National Party caucus and the opening of the Centennial Exhibition. The Rev. A. H. Kedgley, of the Tirau-Putaruru charge, was present at the meeting of the Waikato Presbytery this morning, the first time since his induction. He was welcomed by the moderator, the Rev. G. A. Naylor, and in his reply stated | he had twice previously been ap- . pointed to charges in the Waikato ! Presbytery.
