Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held -their usual fortnightly sale at Te Kuiti on November 3, when a small yarding of sheep and a full entry of cattle were offered to a bench ,of local Taumarunui and Waikato buyers. Sheep attracted keen competition and all classes showed an advance on late rates. The enquiry for cattle was good, more attention than usual being paid to females. Bidding was brisk throughout and practically the entire yarding changed . hands at auction. Quotations: —Fat and forward woolly wethers, 255; forward 4 and 6-tooth wethers, shorn, 19s sd; medium fat ewes, shorn, 10s to 12s; heavy, 15s; good shorn 2-tooth ewes, 245; good shorn 2-tooth wethers, 17s Id; woolly B. F. 2-tooths fat and forward, 18s Id; aged ewes, with 90 per cent lambs at foot, 13s 5d all counted.
