Finland has cancelled the leave of all reservists. * * * * Sweden has protested to Germany against the extension of the Falsterbo minefield. The Brussels correspondent of the British United Press says that the Belgian Ambassador to Germany, the Vicomte Davignon, protested to Germany about the flight of a Nazi plane over Belgian territory on November 5. • omm The French Bourse experienced the most active day for several months, the favourite home industrials gaining five to seven per cent. The boomlet is ascribed to the returning of capital held abroad, which must be declared by November 15. * * * • The Amsterdam correspondent of the Exchange says it is officially announced that investigations into smuggling disclosed serious espionage plots. It is expected the Dutch Nazi movement will be banned. The extension of the German minefield off Falsterbo has virtually closed the entrance to the Baltic and is perturbing Swedish shipowners, because the unmined waters are only deep enough for lightlyladen vessels. For this reason shipments must be made from the west coast, involving railway charges.
