APPOINTMENTS BY BRITAIN (Official Wireless) (Received Nov. 7, 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, Nov. 6 The King has approved of the appointment of Sir George OgilvieForbes, Counsellor to the British Legation at Oslo, to be His Majesty’s Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary at Havana, in succession to Mr H. A. Grant-Watson. Mr S. W. Jones, British Resident at Sealangor, has been appointed Colonial Secretary to, the Straits Settlement, on the forthcoming retirement of Sir Alexander Mall.
