Mr A. L. Spence, of Auckland, visited Hamilton today. Messrs A. Ebbett, J. R. Henderson and G. W. Jew, of Hamilton, are visiting Christchurch. Major A. H. Carrington, formerly of the New Zealand Stall Corps, and for some years connected with journalism in New Zealand, has been appointed Brigade Major of the 182nd (Birmingham) Infantry Brigade in the 61st Division. Major Carrington has just had published a "Life of Captain Cook.”
