Results were:— A Grade.—St. Andrews defeated Trinity by to sets (96 games) to 6 sets (72 games). Summary.—Men’s singles: 2 sets each; women’s singles, St. Andrews 3, Trinity l; men’s doubles, Trinity both sets; women’s doubles, St. Andrews both sets; combines, St. Andrews 3. Trinity 1. Cambridge No. 2 defeated Hora Hora by 9 sets (85 games) to 7 sets (70 games). Summary.—Men’s singles. 2 sets each; women’s singles, Cambridge, all 4 sets; men’s doubles, one set each; women’s doubles, one set each; combines, Hora Hora 3, Cambridge 1. B Grade.—Bruntwood No. 1 defeated Leamington by 9 sets (89 games) to 7 sets (7 4 games). Summary.—Men’s singles: Leamington 3, Bruntwood 1: women’s singles, 2 each; men's doubles, Bruntwood both sets; women’s doubles, Leamington, both sets; combines, Bruntwood, all 4 sets. Arapuni had a runaway victory over Bruntwood No. 2 by 15 sets (104 games) to t set (24 games). The only set won hy Bruntwood was in the men's singles.
