TWO CARS COLLIDE

SATURDAY NIGHT MISHAP SOLDIER IN WAIKATO HOSPITAL When two cars collided near the corner of Grey and Bridge Streets about 10 p.m. on Saturday Mr Charles Thorne, aged 32, a member of the special military force at Hopu Hopu, received abrasions, and another passenger, Mr Walter Ryan, an injury to the arm. Both were taken to the Waikato Hospital in a St. John ambulance, but Mr Ryan was able to return home after receiving attention. The injured men were passengers in a car driven by Mr K. Chappell, of 16 Hunter Street, Hamilton, and the second vehicle was driven by Miss J. Ambury, of JSllvdrdale Road, Ruakura. Both cars were extensively damaged. Mr Thome’s condition is satisfactory.
